I chuckled when mom and dad signed my good luck banner as..."Have a nice stroll." Hiking the A.T. is arduous, but today, I had a nice, very nice, 17.5 mile stroll through the forest in Vermont. My Sunday morning walk in the woods was peaceful. I ended my day perched on a lookout above a cabin watching the sunset paint the sky with shades of red and blue. Bear, Slider, and I enjoyed the panoramic view of the mountains which were breathtakingly beautiful. I could spot Mt. Washington and felt a rush of emotion. I am totally psyched to summit Mt. Washington! |
