Bear and I said goodbye to RadioFlyer this morning who decided to leave the trail a week earlier than originally planned due to an injured toe.  I gave him a huge hug and he reminded me that we would see him again in two weeks when we hike through Pennsylvania, his home state.  I look forward to the reunion and seeing RadioFlyer clean shaven.  Bear and I have hiked the majority of our 780 miles with RadioFlyer, so we will miss his companionship and humor very much.  I hiked 20 miles today winding down at Thunder Creek Shelter where I was able to bathe in the creek, cook a nice dinner of chicken and broccoli, and tuck myself into my sleeping bag by 9:00 p.m.  Awesome day!
