!,064.5 miles on the A.T. and finally I met girls with backpacks!  I have seen fathers and sons, Boy Scouts, and other groups of boys.  Until today, I had not seen any girl hikers.  So...I stopped and chatted with a lovely group of 14-15 year-olds with two moms who called themselves, the Mormon group.  We took pictures on the trail and I answered a number of questions about my hike.  It was great to interact with a group of girls.

I crossed the Mason-Dixon Line today.  This is the historic line which also serves as the Maryland-Pennsylvania state line.  Bear and I high-fived each other.  We were pleased to hike out of MD and into PA.
