I ate a warm breakfast of eggs, bacon, and potatoes at Mike's place before setting out for my day's hike with brio.  My thoughts today as I hiked along centered around Mike's hospitality and his home away from home set in gorgeous countryside.  I carried enough water to get me through at least 15 miles which was where the Oasis water cache could be found.  I camped with Ed about ½ mile short of the water.  I had Fig Newton's and M & M's for dinner since I needed to hoard what little water I did have.
