Bob Williams gave me a ride to the trailhead at 12:30 p.m.  Upon my arrival I found Journey (Cheryl) having lunch at a picnic table.  We each shared stories about getting lost on the trail and decided to hike together today.  Journey, 49, is from Wisconsin and also a mother of three.  We also met Big City Boy, a Harvard graduate, and Ultrabright, a long-legged youngster.  At day's end we had a female slumber party at Boulder Creek. Total miles today: 14.0
