Choo-Choo! I just completed my final training session with Walter's Pain Train. Oh yeah, I'm celebrating! Walter has kicked my butt for nearly two years and now I know I can handle anything that comes my way. There is no can't in Walter's workouts...ever! It is all about doing each and every rep correctly and to the limit. Luckily my fitness friends would wander by on occasion to break up my workouts with some friendly chatter. Those distractions (albeit brief) were great. Walter's stopwatch was forbidding. Two minutes is a VERY long time when one is working through a painful exercise. Sometimes a member of the fitness staff would tell a funny story during those timed exercises. That helped. But if I didn't make the time, additional time was always added to maximize my workout, of course. Walter is a pain specialist. He knows how to get the most out of his clients. Now I know I am physically prepared to hike 2,650 miles. Thank you, Walter (the Devil), from the bottom of my heart and 'er....feet. Choo-Choo! |
